Open source and Pro
Understand Depsilo's open-source and Pro features, and start a 14-day trial in your own instance.
Depsilo’s dependency proxy, shared cache, and supply-chain governance features are open source. If you need multi-project workspaces or runtime project SBOM export, you can evaluate Pro in your own instance.
This page covers stable v0.11.0.

A runtime project SBOM describes project dependencies recorded through the instance. It differs from the software SBOM produced for Depsilo’s own releases and does not establish that every dependency in your project was scanned. See supply-chain policy for policy coverage by ecosystem.
Start a trial in your instance
Section titled “Start a trial in your instance”-
Deploy and complete first-run setup
If you do not have an instance yet, follow the quick start to launch Depsilo, create an admin, and verify the connection.
-
Open License & Pro
Sign in to Admin with an account that has write access. Add
/admin/licenseto your instance’s address. For a local deployment, that ishttp://localhost:23333/admin/license; from another device, use the server’s reachable address. -
Select Start trial and check the status
This action is available when the instance has not used a trial and has no active Pro license. After activation, the page shows Pro · Trial, the remaining days, and the expiry date. Open the project workspace to use Pro features.
The 14-day period starts when you activate the trial. Trial state is stored in your instance. No payment details or separate cloud account are required. An instance’s trial record can only be activated once; an active or expired trial cannot be started again.
After the trial
Section titled “After the trial”Without an active Pro license, access to multi-project workspaces and runtime project SBOM export is restricted. Open-source caching and the open-source governance features above remain available.
To continue using Pro, choose Ask about Pro access on the License & Pro page. If you already have a license key, enter it on that page and check the activation status. Current access options are confirmed through that enquiry.
If Start trial is missing, check your account’s write access and whether the instance has already used a trial or activated Pro. If the status cannot load, restore the connection to your instance and retry.
